Summer Pond Hockey
The Summer Pond Hockey program is designed to allow you player to continue participation, work on and improve there skills in much lower keyed atmosphere.
There will be supervision, but not Coaching in the traditional sense of Coaching, these sessions will be less organized, but managed to ensure that players have time and space to work on their skill development in appropriate skill level groups.
The ages will be a bit different than the ages typically understood, this due in part at least to the number of players in each age group available.
Ages
In Flagstaff we have the players organized into two groups, 6U/8U/10U and 12U/14U/16U.
When
Specific dates and times could change each year, but typically it is Tuesday for the 6U/8U/10U group and Thursday for the 12U/14U/16U group and usually for the months of June and July.
Where
Currently there is only one Facility in Flagstaff so all session are at Jay Lively Arena.
Practices
As indicated this program has the players on the ice for an hour once a week for 8 to 10 weeks depending on the availability of the ice.
Games
There are no organized games as in a team participating in a league, however there will be scrimmages within the players available at any given session. However the emphasis is not on game skills it is on the development of individual skills.
Jerseys
No Jersey's or equipment is provided.
Extra Costs
There are no extra costs to this program. The only cost is in registering.

2025
Summer Pond Hockey for 2025 will be an eight week season starting on Jun 3rd and concluding on Jul 24.
There will two groups of skaters, Tuesday's will 6U/8U/10U and Thursday's will be 12U/14U/16U.
All sessions are an hour, 5:30pm to 6:30pm, at Jay Lively Arena.
